Üsküdar University was established in 2011 as a foundation university, with a particular focus on behavioral sciences and health from its inception. Its academic structure has since expanded to include medicine, dentistry, engineering, natural sciences, health sciences, humanities and social sciences, and communication, in addition to associate-degree and graduate programs.
